The ghost of Victor Kilian roams the sidewalk here looking for the man who murdered him. The Irish actor appeared in over 140 films, and played Grandpa in the 'Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman' TV series. In 1976 he befriended a man at a nearby bar and invited him back to his apartment. Kilian's bludgeoned corpse was found the next morning and the unidentified killer was never apprehended. The movie theater was built by Sid Grauman in 1927 and is known for a backstage ghost that clutches at the mainstage curtain and harasses visitors to the dressing rooms. Located at 6925 Hollywood Blvd, CA 90028. Selected Sources: Haunted Places The National Directory by: Dennis William Hauck www.sights-and-culture.com
